How to make this Stunning Lavender Cocktail!

This lavender cocktail with it’s soft purple colour and sweet floral scent makes it a stunner for brunches, garden parties and summer patio sips!

Oh gosh – now I can smell it! As I’m writing this, I can literally recall the aroma as we arrived at Steed & Company Lavender Farm. What a gorgeous piece of heaven on earth!

Besides the beautiful scenery, they had lots of really cool lavender goodies – from hand sanitizer, to beauty products to culinary goods. The curious baker in me snagged some lavender syrup – I’d never seen that before, so why not?.

On the way home a plan started to form about all the lavender goodies I was going to make with this purple syrup- starting with a cocktail. Is it bad that’s where my mind went first? To cocktail recipes? 😉

Can’t be all bad because I created this new summer cocktail. It’s a departure from the fruity fizzy drinks of summer (which I also adore.) Instead this one is floral and crisp. The perfect accompaniment to Sunday brunch or a Garden party. And the striking violet colour makes it a pretty and memorable cocktail that tastes as amazing as it looks!

Joyful Hostess Tip: Make a non-alcoholic version by omitting the gin and adding different flavoured sparkling water – try elderberry for a more floral note or lime to make it more citrusy.
