This apple peach sangria recipe gets a kick of tartness by adding apples and crab apple mixer. The perfect combo of tart and sweet! This peach sangria is especially good towards the end of summer when peaches are at their peak.
Recently I came across this Sour Apple Mixer from a local Canadian company, Appleflats and I was intrigued because the mixer was made using crabapples. (cool, right?!) This mixer gave the sangria that slight tartness (think biting into a ripe green apple), and helped to offset the syrupy sweetness of the peaches perfectly.
It was just so tasty! I think with the addition of the apple flavour, it just may be a sangria I can serve into Fall (and maybe jazz up Thanksgiving dinner too!)
Check out the video below where I show you how to make it – but if you prefer the written version, the recipe is linked below.

How to Make Apple Peach Sangria
- 2 cups white wine
- 1 cup Crab Apple Mixer (if you can’t find this, you can substitute for 1/4 cup sour apple mix and adjust to your level of tartness)
- 2 oz. of Peach Schnapps
- 1 cup sparkling water
- sliced peaches and apples
- ice cubes
Into your pitcher add the wine, crabapple mixer, schnapps and sparkling water. Give it a stir and add fruit and ice cubes and serve immediately.
Joyful Hostess Tip – to prepare this ahead, (a few hours before your event) mix up the first 3 ingredients and fruit in your pitcher. When you’re ready to serve – simply add the sparkling water, ice cubes – give it a stir and serve.
