These free cute trick or treat tags can be downloaded for free and added to your goodies for those special little ghouls and goblins! We even included a special “social distance” tag for 2020 Halloween.
For my family of nieces and nephews, I made gooey popcorn balls, wrapped in parchment paper and added the “wicked treat” tags. These popcorn balls are super easy to whip up (think rice cereal treats…but with popcorn) and tasty. You can find the popcorn ball recipe here.

What you’ll need to make your Trick or Treat Tags
- The free printable download
- Cardstock (any colour you like – here we chose green and orange)
- Scissors
- Ribbon or String (I used jute twine to make it look more rustic)
Step 1: Download Trick or Treat Tag templates (see above) and print onto coloured cardstock.
Step 2: Cut out tags.
Step 3: Using hole punch, punch hole in tag.
Step 4: Tie to your goodies and/or treat bag using ribbon.
