Honey butter is so incredibly easy to make and utterly delicious that you’ll be making it over and over again!
With only two ingredients, anyone can easily whip up a batch and serve up something special!
I made this honey butter recipe for the croissants I served at brunch. Ever since then, we’ve been making and putting honey butter on just about everything: pancakes, waffles, ham sandwiches (so good), toast, fresh baked bread (mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!)
But I think you get the picture, the creaminess of the butter and the sweetness of the honey is to die for!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup softened, room temperature salted butter
- 1/4 cup honey (I used clover honey, but you can pick your fave)
Directions
- With mixer (stand or electric mixer) whip butter for a minute or two to loosen it.
- Add in the honey and mix until light and fluffy.
- Cover and store in the refrigerator
Joyful Hostess Tip: Try using flavoured honeys like lavender or add a dash of sriracha for a hot & spicy twist! Also, making flavoured butter and storing it in a pretty jar would make a sweet hostess gift too!.
