Directions for Making Pumpkin Spice Coffee
Next time you’re brewing a pot of coffee, add pumpkin pie spice on top of your coffee grounds before brewing.
A good ratio is 1/4 tsp of spice per 4 scoops of coffee grounds. Depending on your taste, you can easily customize by adding more or less spice to the mix.
For single serve pumpkin spice coffee (i.e.. using a Keurig reusable coffee filter or instant coffee), just add a pinch of spice to your grounds before you pop it into your Keurig or add your water.
Joyful Hostess Tip: Wanna make it a latte? Add warm frothed milk and sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon. You can make other specialty coffee flavours by adding gingerbread spice, or cinnamon to your grounds as well.
How about a mocha coffee? Add 1 well rounded tablespoon of hot chocolate mix to your cup and stir in coffee for a chocolatey treat. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce and you have yourself a picture perfect mocha java!
