Who doesn’t love a good charcuterieboard these days? With a few dollars and a few minutes, you can make yourself a gorgeous, slate board to use for your next party.

Ready for the easiest DIY EV-ER?

  1. Head to your favourite hardware/tile store and buy a slate tile. (or 2)
  2. Wash and dry thoroughly.
  3. Put self-adhesive felt strips on the bottom of the tile (so it won’t scratch your table or counter)
  4. Arrange with your fave treats.

Joyful Hostess Tip: Use chalk to write the type of cheese or meat on the tiles. This way your guests know what they’re in for – and you don’t have to keep answering “What type of cheese is this?” or “Is this spicy?” 😉

What about putting together a board that is ALL chocolate? Or a caramel apple theme? Your board doesn’t have to be limited to meats and cheeses!

If you’re looking to add something special to your chocolate charcuterie board, check out this link to make YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE SALAMI. https://www.joyfulhostess.com/making-chocolate-salami/ I know it sounds weird but it’s so good!

Here’s a few unique boards to help get the inspiration flowing. (As for me…I’ll be starting with the chocolate one….as usual)
